Turn tax dollars
into cash-flowing assets.
Write off the vehicle. Collect the income. We run the day-to-day.
The opportunity
High-income earners want three things at once: a tangible asset, predictable cashflow, and a way to reduce what they owe in taxes. Rental real estate gives the first two. A tax-advantaged retirement account gives the third. A managed Tesla fleet — owned by your LLC, rented to screened drivers — delivers all three in a single vehicle.
You buy Teslas at wholesale. We operate them on the rideshare rental platform used by thousands of drivers nationwide. You collect monthly cashflow. At tax time, your CPA applies accelerated first-year depreciation against your W-2, 1099, or capital gains — often enough to offset a year of taxes on a single vehicle.

Why this works
The drivers need vehicles they can’t buy.
Rideshare drivers earn $50K–$100K a year but frequently can’t finance a quality EV themselves. They pay premium weekly rent for vehicles that let them earn more.
Teslas specifically.
Drivers save hundreds a week on fuel vs. gas competitors, qualify for premium ride rates (Uber Comfort Electric, Lyft XL), and run reliably for 80+ hours a week. That’s why they pay what they pay.
We have control other fleets don’t.
Tesla’s APIs give us real-time GPS, speed limiting, remote digital key revocation, and instant lockout if a driver stops paying. A rental Audi doesn’t offer any of that.
How it works
- 1
Form an LLC.
Takes a few days. We coordinate with your CPA — the LLC is what owns the vehicles and claims the deductions.
- 2
We source the Teslas.
Model 3 Long Range or Model Y Long Range. Black interior, clean Carfax, under our mileage cap. We negotiate wholesale. Title goes to your LLC.
- 3
We run the fleet.
Driver screening, insurance, maintenance, collections, customer support. The entire day-to-day is ours.
- 4
You collect and deduct.
Monthly net income deposits into your LLC bank account. At tax time, your CPA applies accelerated first-year depreciation against your other income.
You own the vehicles and make the decisions. We run the operations day-to-day. Driven Wealth is your fleet manager — never your owner or partner. Title stays in your LLC’s name.
The numbers
Per vehicle, typical year.
- Monthly net income
- $750–$1,500
- First-year tax deduction
- ~$22,500
- Year-1 tax savings
- ~$8,300
Your protection
- Ownership.
- Your LLC holds title outright. We never co-own, co-sign, or take a security interest.
- Insurance.
- Commercial coverage on-rental includes collision, comprehensive, and liability at our policy limit. Off-rental coverage continues. Deductibles disclosed in the full terms.
- Tech enforcement.
- Real-time GPS, speed limiter, remote digital key revocation. If a driver misses payment, we can disable the vehicle within minutes.
- Bounded downside.
- Your exposure per incident is capped at the insurance deductible ($2,500). Smaller costs net against your fleet’s revenue on the statement — and if a month runs negative, we don’t bill you; it carries forward against the next month’s earnings.
- Exit.
- Written notice, fixed notice period. We complete current rentals, return or sell your vehicles, and issue final settlement within our published timeline.
Known risks we don’t hide: vehicle depreciation, rental demand fluctuations, maintenance costs, driver delinquency, platform-level changes. Tesla resale holds better than most vehicles, but these are real cars operating in a real market.

Common questions
What’s my actual time commitment?
Light. We run the day-to-day; the occasional decision that’s genuinely yours to make comes to you, and we walk through exactly what that looks like on the intro call.
How much do I need to start?
Varies by cash vs. financing. Many clients finance with unsecured personal loans to preserve liquidity. We’ll size the investment on the intro call.
What are the risks?
Vehicle depreciation, rental demand fluctuations, maintenance costs, driver delinquency, platform-level changes. Mitigated — not eliminated — by Tesla resale strength, diversified driver sourcing, insurance, and tech enforcement.
How are vehicles protected?
Commercial insurance on-rental and off-rental, Tesla API controls (GPS, speed limit, remote lockout), and the LLC liability shield. Full details in the documentation.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Written notice per our policy. We complete current rentals, return or sell your vehicles, and issue final settlement within our published timeline.
I just had a liquidity event — can this help shelter the tax hit?
Often, yes. With material participation, the first-year depreciation creates deductions that reduce ordinary income and can offset capital gains in the same tax year. The specifics depend on your situation — whether the gain is short-term or long-term, what else is in your return, and how your LLC is structured. We can loop in our CPA partner if you don’t already have one.
What about financing?
Cash or financing both work. Most financed purchases use an unsecured personal loan — no lien on the vehicle — and we’ll work with you on options on the intro call.
